Worship at St. Andrew UMC

Worship at St. Andrew United Methodist church is designed to lead the congregation into the presence of Christ, giving those opportunities for praise, prayer, and hearing the Word of God.

Pastor Mark Fieger leads us in Worship and the Word each Sunday. At the 9:00 am service a traditional United Methodist worship format is used, incorporating the familiar creeds, prayers and hymns of the United Methodist Church. Sunday school classes for children through adults are taught during this hour and nursury care is available. The 10:30 am service is contemporary with praise bands, children's message, and a blending of ancient, traditional, and contemporary aspects of liturgy and prayer. Children’s Church and nursury care are available.

Pastor Erik Hall leads us in Chapel Worship each Sunday from 8:00 am until 8:30 am. Chapel is informal and meets outside during good weather (bring your lawn chair!!!) and in the fellowship hall during inclement weather. Music is enjoyed in that 'around the campfire style' and the morning devotion is a Christ-centered and provocative series of messages on ' The Growing Edges of Faith'. Bring your hopes, joys, and concerns...   we have prayer and requests time each service. Bring the kids!

Our worship services are enhanced by a variety of music led by choirs and musicians of all ages. We welcome you to lend your voice and talents in our music ministry.

Communion:

It's not about us simply reminding each other what Jesus did for us, it is about being fed by the One who invites us to the table.

When we come to our Lord's table, as a church, we are coming to be fed - Spiritually. Just as bread and wine are valuable and energizing to eat and drink, so the bread and cup are valuable and energizing to us spiritually. Come, join hands with our brothers and sisters around the world, and be fed! Are you hungry?
